Reminiscence

Pain of mine combined with sour taste of guilt.
Flashbacks that I had....How we used to be....
And now we seem like strangers.....
Yes it's all over...past....kept behind....don't look back....
But with just one look at you....
I indulged in the memories we used to share...
Causing shards of pretense to reappear.
Delving the mind yet cradling sorrow.
It's time to grasp back my very own sanity.
